The song “Love is in the Air” is going through my head as “Lunch is in the air…” which is not the same thing at all. But lunch does seem to be in the air — summer’s over, kids are back in school, and it’s time to start the march toward the holidays which takes me through my very favorite time of year: the fresh start of fall. YAY! (And how much am I dating myself with this song?! It’s from 1978. Holy crow! I was 10 years old. But I vividly remember lying on my bed and listening to it on the radio. Don’t judge.)

Anyway, on to lunch…

Nom Nom Paleo

The ever-fabulous Nom Nom Paleo recently wrapped up a kickass collection of packable lunches on her blog; steal her ideas immediately for tasty, Whole30 compliance that’s sure to please grownups and wee ones.

And Love It Too

Let me introduce you to another paleo-friendly blog with a dynamic woman at the helm. And Love It Too features gluten-free, dairy-free recipes. The blog recently featured a month-long series called Healthy Lunchbox 2012, and I contributed a post about Antipasto Platters. This is one of my favorite combos: Mediterranean Tuna, pickled peppers, olives, bell pepper strips, carrots, and cucumbers — all with homemade mayo, of course.
