It’s Raining Like a Monday

The corporate overlords are really crackin’ the whip today! I had to cut my workout short this morning to get into the office in time for an 8:00 a.m. meeting — and although I’m scheduled to have double band practice from 6-10 tonight (St. Joe’s Choir and Sellouts), it’s looking like I’m going to be working late instead.


I did, however, haul my ass out of my warm bed this morning to do my first at-home I AM CROSSFIT workout. I couldn’t find my bamboo pole, so I couldn’t do the Bergener warmup, and it was raining so I didn’t do the whole thing outside. It was a bit of a mish-mash: burpees outside, situps and squats inside, quick run through the rain. Repeat.

  • 10 burpees
  • 15 situps
  • 20 squats
  • 100m run

My time: 14:26
(I think I wasted precious seconds moving from my indoor to my outdoor station.)

When I was done, I had to rush my blueberries and milk, which always makes me grumpy… and I’m about to start “hormone poisoning.” Man! Being a girl is rough sometimes.
