Remember a few weeks ago when I asked you to support me in my quest to become a curator for a paleo box of goodies...

My first Quarterly box made its way into the world last week, and it was really fun to see everyone’s reactions to the goodies I picked out for EAT01. Thank you so much to everyone who subscribed! To those of you who took the time to send me a note or post on Twitter and Facebook, an extra-special thank you hug is included in this post. Dave and I were really sweatin’ the details to make sure the goodies in the box lived up to your expectations. It’s such a relief to know you liked the things we picked out for you.
Here’s a video of me unboxing our Quarterly box — it was really sweet for us to get a care package, too, even though we knew what was in it. Also, check out all that counter space in our new Vermont kitchen! The flowers on the windowsill are from our CSA Sunrise Farm.
My next Quarterly box will be shipped in November, and we picked an awesome theme. It’s going to be really fun. Don’t miss out — subscribe right here!

Melissa! I loved loved LOVED my quarterly box. Like using a pig snout to tail, I will use everything in the box. 🙂
I’m so happy you like it! Enjoy all the goodies!
I just love the knife, I use it every day. Thanks!
I was the MOST EXCITED about the coconut butter! I am doing a whole30 now and that will be my first treat when I am finished 🙂
Is the knife available to purchase? I didn’t see it on your Amazon store. What a clever idea your box is!
That knife is by Knork, and isn’t available on its own — only as a set. We were able to finagle the paring knife for my Quarterly box because the Quarterly people are magic elves. http://www.knork.net/store/knives/3-piece-chef-knife-set-cutting-board/63/
Amazon only carries the Knork steak knives. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001RUNNJW/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=B001RUNNJW&linkCode=as2&tag=roltheboo-20&linkId=KMNHOD6ZEA7HASVA
Dang, I missed out on the first one, but I am now subscribed!!! Can’t wait until November!
We have a REALLY fun theme for November. It’s going to be a great box. Thanks for subscribing!
I loved the box! The smaller goodies made it into my lunch, the coconut butter is yum, & the knife is amazing. The only thing I can’t use is the ghee, but I’m sure somebody will use it. I adore ghee, but unfortunately I’m allergic to milk. I tried ghee a few times over the years & (please don’t laugh) it always makes me wet the bed (ok…go ahead & laugh…I know you want to).
All in all, I’d still cll this box awesome, & can’t wait for the next one 🙂 Thanks!
Thank you for subscribing! I’m sure you’ll be able to find a taker for that ghee! (and I’m sorry you can’t enjoy it)
Oh how I wish I lived in the states so I could sign up to these boxes!!! They are just fantastic! 🙂
Quarterly does ship internationally, but it’s a little spendy 🙁
How much for overseas? Any way to request a kosher box? (or meat-free)?
that knife is now in our picnic basket, it is gorgeous, thank you and the magic elves at Quarterly for making that happen! Everything else is/was yummy – I’ve used all of it already!
I love the idea of you knife on adventurous picnics. YAY!
I absolutely love my box and was super excited to receive it; I tracked it daily 🙂 Had been dying to try that coconut butter and it did not disappoint. Have already used some of the ghee and love the knife too. Haven’t gotten brave enough for the anchovies, but I’m going to take the plunge and try them soon. Thank you for such a thoughtful assortment! Can’t wait for the next one!
Thank you so much for letting me know you like the goodies I picked out! The anchovies are good; I promise.
Just back from Hawaii and mine was waiting for me! It’s so much fun and I loved it all. Your letter was awesome! I didn’t know I could get pre-made bone broth – I am SO looking for that. What a great time to include it! Ready to get all the vacation junk food out of my system and it was so nice to come home to a present that actually motivates!:) Great job, Mel! Really!
Hope you had a wonderful time in Hawaii — and it’s so nice you had a care package waiting for you when you got home. YAY!
*taps her foot impatiently waiting for hers still* I’ll even try the anchovies, honest. 🙂
Oh, no! Do you have a tracking number? Hate to think of you languishing without your ghee!
I’m in Canada, and it just shipped last week, so I’ll give it a couple of more days before a panic. For the person that asked above, it was an extra $15 for shipping to here, not sure about overseas.
Hi there. Loved my first quarterly box and was just wondering if you knew where I might be able to order the bone broth? Such a great sub for my homemade, especially for keeping at the office!
I noticed that Pacific Organic finally added it to their web site. They have a store locator… http://www.pacificfoods.com/food/broths-stocks/bone-broths/organic-bone-broth-chicken.aspx
A bit spendy for my pocket..lol
Looks wonderful!
Congrats on the first box.
Hi Melissa, what a nice first box. Good job! I have to admit that all of the items are staples in my pantry already but I don’t mind extras. 🙂 I love more ghee for cooking and coconut butter for my coffee. 🙂 I’m a big fan of anchovies and the knife is a great addition to my kitchen. The Primal Pacs were new to me, they looked a bit weird but tasted awesome. I will definitely buy more!!! Please keep introducing us to wonderful primal brands, perhaps adding a cooking book (hint hint;-) ) or something fitness related.
Thank you, Bella! I’m really glad you’re enjoying it. Primal Pacs are good to have around — love those, too!
We have a fitness box planned for early 2015, and it’s a doozy!
Just signed up for a subscription. Can’t wait to see what’s in store for November!!
When I track my package through UPS, it reads:
A UPS shipping label has been created. Once the shipment arrives at our facility, the tracking status–including the scheduled delivery date–will be updated.
Can you double check it went out?
The fastest way for you to get help is to contact Quarterly customer service directly. They have AWESOME customer service — hello@quarterly.co If you don’t have any luck, email me at melissa@theclothesmakethegirl.com and I’ll see what I can do.
So envious of everyone, I haven’t received mine yet, I live in Canada so I expect there may be an extra step at customs . . . I have emailed Quarterly just to double check, looking forward to hearing their reply but most importantly looking forward to getting my package!!!
Already tip-tapping toes for November! lol. ADORED this box!
I’m so glad you liked it! The “Good Morning” box for November is going to super fun.
I don’t suppose you can throw some bacon in it? lol.
Can’t wait to see what you put together for us!
Just saw that Nov’s box was breakfast focused so had to order it. Wish I’d had September so I could get the awesome knife. Also informed my wife that a year-long subscription would be a great gift for the paleo-loving cook in the family (me!). Can’t wait to get my box.
Thanks for ordering the November box. It’s going to be a really fun one! Hope you get your gift subscription!
