Gingerbread Spice Blend

Gingerbread spice makes everything it touches taste like winter holidays—even on a regular ol’ Monday or Tuesday. And really, who couldn’t use a little extra holiday spirit on a weekday?!

Make a regular ol’ Tuesday awesome, my friends.

This super-fast homemade version finds the perfect balance between spicy—ginger, allspice, cloves—and the sweeter touch of cinnamon and nutmeg. It’s delicious sprinkled on sweet potatoes—like these sweet potato fries or this soup—as well as these pan-fried plantains and crispy plantains (just skip the garlic sauce). Or you can really go for it with Gingerbread Pork Stew or Gingerbread-Spiced Pecans.
