It’s My Final Quarterly Box

quarterly

My fourth and final Quarterly box — a.k.a., #EAT04 — is shipping on May 26. If you haven’t subscribed yet, you might want to sign up for this one: It’s going to be a keeper!

As usual, the package will include a handwritten letter from me (illustrated by my wickedly talented husband Dave), along with handpicked things I love and think you’ll like, too.

I don’t want to spoil all of the surprises, but here’s a tiny bite: We decided to pack #EAT04 full of kickass paleo pantry goodies. You will definitely find these two delicious treats inside: AMRAP nutrition bars (ridiculously tasty, functional nutrition) and Paleonola (my favorite grain-free granola).

These two are part of #EAT04 because they’re some of my favorite paleo products and everyone I’ve talked to from these companies has been Good People. In fact, I contribute blog posts to the AMRAP nutrition blog, and Dinos from Paleonola let me talk his ear off about the New England Patriots, even though, by his own admission, he’s “not a football guy.” Good People.

Thank you!

Thanks so much to all of you who subscribed to my Quarterly box, shared photos of your unboxing, and gave me feedback so I could make each one better than the last. I really appreciate your support and the trust you put in me to send you surprises.

It’s been fun — and sometimes stressful! — to select the items for each box. I felt like I was buying presents for all of my subscribers. (Sure, they’re presents you paid for, but just play along because it really was a delightful experience for me.)

Now that the year is up, I’m turning my attention to other projects: another issue of the Well Fed magazine, a new-and-improved web site (and a new name+logo!), and a new cookbook for Fall 2016. I so appreciate all of you joining me in recipes and writing.

I hope you enjoy #EAT04 — sign up to get it right here.

Wait!?? No more boxes?? How sad! It was like a mini Christmas every couple months!

    • I’m sorry! It’s been really fun, and it was a struggle to make the decision — but if I want to finish our new cookbook (and I REALLY do!), I need to focus on new recipes for that. Focused energy. That’s my mantra for this year 🙂

Loved these boxes! I got to try things I’d never otherwise, and some things I’d never even heard of before. And I love the notes with recipes and ideas. I’ll miss these Paleo care packages.

    • I’m really glad you liked them! I’m going to try to use my newsletter and blog posts to share new products with you guys moving forward. When my new site is up and running, I’m going to be doing lots of fun, new content and recipes. Thanks for all the support!

My lovely partner really adores “Well Fed” magazine and keeps it by her pillow. I look forward to giving her the next one. Thanks so much!

  • Janet says:

WOW! Sorry not to hear no more boxes but very excited to see what is on the horizon with you. All the best.

    Hi Melissa!
In this 4th box, can you say whether it will have items for an AIP way of life? 😉
I would like to purchase the box, but there is really no point if I can’t eat half (or more) of the stuff — ya know??
Thanks – and I’m excited for next book!!

    • Hi, Gina!

I’m sorry to say it’s not very AIP friendly. So many paleo products include nuts, spices, eggs that it’s pretty hard to make it AIP compliant, unless I set out to do that. BUT… I’ll do a blog post of AIP-friendly products sometime soon to make up for it.

      • Gina Armer says:

        Thanks, Melissa!!
Great info and I look forward to an AIP-friendly products blog post! Exciting 🙂

I could only afford to buy one. I got the first one. The knife that came with it is still my favorite, but the can of fish is still in the cupboard. LOL

  • Jennie says:

I, too, have really enjoyed the boxes. I signed up too late for the first one but was able to get in on the action ever since then. Sorry to have it all end but looking forward to your future projects. Thanks for the time and effort you’ve put into each box!

I just opened my quarterly box and jumped up and down (up! and down!) at the haul. Seriously, your best one ever from a food perspective. I cannot wait to try all the new stuff. I drink tea out of my brass knuckles cup every morning and my trust egg keeper comes to work with me everyday – protecting my fragile HBE. Thank you so much for this fun box of goodies!

  • Kelley says:

Thank you! I love love love the last quarterly box! What a treat and you have turned me on to some great new products! I will surely miss these but thank you for doing this!
