Whole30 July 4th Recipe Roundup

Summer is cranking along, and here we are — at least in the U.S. — at the second of the major summer holidays: Fourth of July. WOOT! Fireworks! Cookouts! Swimming! Beer Belly Contest! (Ooops! Maybe that’s just my relatives.)

Just in case you need to contribute to a potluck, here are links to previous recipe roundups so you can enjoy the holiday without demolishing your good habits. And if you choose to declare your independence from food rules to indulge in something decadent, enjoy every bite.

    Hi Melissa

You are a rock star on a million levels (you’re an inspiration around your health and fitness, your energy, your site , that you love to read and share about it all).

I’m on day 8 of the Whole30 and really enjoying it, I bought your cookbook about 10 seconds after I finished reading It Starts With Food.

I love your recipes your chutzpah and your complete generosity in sharing all that hard cookin.
I made your cauliflower”rice” tonight and had it with a casserole of grassfed organic beef and mixed veggies OMG. It was fantastic. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

Your recipes and “you know how you could do do that”‘s are making this a happy, yummy, enjoyable process.

    🙂 Louyse

You obviously got the memo that the way to my heart is by calling me a rock star 🙂

Congratulations on tackling the Whole30 and devouring It Starts With Food — and thank you for buying Well Fed, too.

Cauliflower rice is magic. That’s all there is to that. Magic!

Hope you continue to have fun in the kitchen. Best wishes for an awesome Whole30.
