OK! I said I was going to do CrossFit Austin’s strength workout every week and despite a missed Tuesday workout, I did it! Saturday morning. Craptastic gym. Strength workout done.
And it was pretty badass.
3X5 behind-the-neck press @ 2020 – 55# – 60# – 65#(4)
5X2 back squat @ 80% max – 120#
3X5 deadlift @ 60-65% max – 120#
plus 5 (perfect!) pushups in between back squat and deadlift sets = 40 pushups
barbell complex, 3 reps each, 3 rounds – 45#
20 med ball situps, 10#
