My report from Tuesday, September 15, 2009, faithfully submitted for your review…

Hrs of sleep:
7

Veggies:
2/3 c sweet potato
3 c cabbage
1.5 cucumber
2 red peppers
2.5 carrots

1 banana

Training:
CrossFit Women
AMRAP 20 minutes:

  • 8 man-makers
  • 4 box jumps
  • 2 muscle ups

The skinny
Getting enough sleep on Monday and Wednesday nights is a challenge. I have to wake up at 5:00 a.m. on Tuesday/Thursday for my CrossFit Women class, so even if I get to sleep at 9:00 the night before, that’s only 8 hours. In reality, I usually get around 7-ish on Mon/Wed, which is not a great way to head into a CrossFit Women class designed by Crystal! However, Wednesday is my rest day, so Tuesday night, I can usually get the full 9.

My workout yesterday was so totally badass, it’s getting its own post today. Look for it in a bit…

Ew ew ew….ice cream = mind control. Crazy!

I've been horrible on sleep AND veggies over the past couple of weeks. I so craved pancakes on SUnday, any type of bread on Monday and a margarita last night, but stayed vigil.

    Sleep – maybe 7ish hours?

Veggies: Onions, peppers, lettuce, spinach, cucumbers, broccoli, carrots

    Fruits: Honeycrisp apple, banana, Larabar

Workout: 1 hour of speed skate (lots of slow and low work) then messing around at Adult skate for a few hours

Mel – that would be awesome. We need to have a Melissa meet up sometime.
