Ready for Monday… Sorta

I have a new CrossFit class schedule, so for the first time in almost two years, it’s up to me to design a Monday morning workout. I dig into my index card box of workouts I’ve collected here and there, then pick out a few options so Dave can choose. Today I decided it’s been too long since we did thrusters, so both options included my semi-arch nemesis. This is what we’ve got for tomorrow at 6:30 a.m.:

Monday Morning Daring Duos
3 rounds of each set:

  • 10 med ball cleans + 10 pushups
  • 20 dumbbell front squats + 20 superman
  • 30 thrusters + 30 situps


For time:

  • Sprint 50m + 5 burpees
  • Sprint 50m + 10 sprawls
  • Sprint 50m + 30 mountain climbers

    So…are you out to kick Mondays in the junk or what? That is one devil of a workout. Just the first half on it's own is challenging enough.
