So – I got to watch the inauguration ceremony at the VA. The Comprehensive Mental Health Program on the 6th floor held a little party for all the veterans in the program. Three televisions were set up and there was food everywhere. Not to mention, there were vets in hover rounds, walkers, and vets who weren’t entirely oriented to the correct date/place/time – if you know what i mean.

I walked in the room right when Obama took his oath and immediately the tears fell from my eyes – it was awesome. The vets had a Bingo game going on called “BingObama” – and every time they heard a certain word during his speech, they would check them off until they got a bingo. So here’s Obama talking seriously about the challenges we face and in the room there are people randomly shouting of “Bingo!” haha..it was quite the experience.

    Love you!
