Last night was just what I needed. I made a delicious Zone dinner (Southwest chicken on a bed of cabbage with zucchini on the side, and strawberries + almonds for dessert), then watched back-to-back episodes of NCIS.
Mark Harmon’s Gibbs is the perfect antidote for a rough week — and the theme song makes me wanna dance.
I woke up at 4:00 a.m. this morning — with my stomach growling — and after I ate half a Balance bar, got caught up reading The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. Suddenly, it was 5:57 and my alarm was blaring. Those two hours just evaporated, I was so caught up in the story.
I was tempted to stay in bed and finish my book, but the I AM CROSSFIT workout for today was beckoning.
