A Week in the Zone: Friday

By Friday, I’ve got an odd assortment of food leftover from the week, so Friday’s food is always a bit of a hodge-podge. The mole pork chops were a smashing success this week, and cabbage is still the front-runner for favorite vegetable.

1/2 oz. chicken
1/2 c blueberries
1/4 c Fiber One (7 grams of fiber!)
1c 1% milk
18 almonds
fish oil, glucosamine, Juice Plus

Lunch, 12:00 p.m.
3 blocks P+C, 6 blocks F, 7 WW points
3 oz. mole pork chops
1 c cabbage
pink grapefruit
10 olives + 12 almonds

Snack, 4:00 p.m.
1 block P+C+F, 2 WW points
2% string cheese
1/2 c red grapes
3 almonds

Dinner, 6:30 p.m.
3 blocks P+C, 6 blocks F, 7 WW points
4 oz. extra-lean ground beef
1 c cabbage
1 c mixed veg: zucchini, carrots, cauliflower, red peppers
2 tablespoons avocado + 10 olives
9 almonds
1/2 c blueberries

Pre-bed Snack, 9:30 p.m.
nutritionally bankrupt, 2WW points
1/2 c low-fat rocky road ice cream
