In My Own Bed

I’m back home, in my leopard robe, tucked in bed with lots of movies, my prescriptions, and my new stuffed friend “Bash,” a cute little lamb Carla brought to the hospital on Wednesday night. I’m realizing now that I had two visitors — Carla and Mamie — but it seems like a hazy dream. Yay, vicodin.

Dave made me mac + cheese last night, followed by chocolate peanut butter ice cream. Mmmm.

Thank you for all your positive energy and well wishes. I’m definitely on the mend.

(But my incision is NASTY. There’s no bigger camera ham than I am, but I think we won’t be taking any photos for a while.)

HOORAY!! I am so glad you are back in your own digs and getting the best care from Dave.

I’m sending you some warm thoughts and big hugs. Please let me know if you need me to do anything for you.

And don’t worry about the camera…you’re always photogenic. I personally think scars are a sign of epic battles. And we know you are, indeed, a warrior. 🙂
