In Celebration of Situps

I swore when I hit the pillow last night that I was going to CrossFit Women this morning, and when the alarm went off at 5:20 a.m., I was already awake, ready to jump to it.

The workout was challenging, but it felt GREAT to be moving again. And I’ve barely coughed today, so hooray!

Our workout
For time:

  • jerk-press, 10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1
  • hamstring extensions, 10 each round
  • situps, 50-45-40-35-30-25-20-15-10-5

I only used 20-lb. dumbbells for the presses so I could probably go heavier next time. And that was the first time I ever used the hamstring thing-y; I loved it!

Then Mallika was doing pullups, and I was jealous so I joined her: 10 with the band and 15 kipping off the box.

I’m back. And it’s good.
