The World’s Greatest Rubberband

Carey gave us a kickass workout at Women’s CrossFit this morning.

Our workout
3 rounds for time:
20 walking lunges, 35-lb. bar overhead
20 chest press, 20-lb. dumbbells
overhead carry, 35-lb. bar
20 air squats

I finished in 9:26.

Then she hooked us up with a giant rubberband wrapped about the pullup bar, and we did assisted pullups. It was the first time I could really imagine what it would be like to do a real pullup — and it was really, ridiculously hard.

My pledge to you: I won’t quit ’til I can do a pullup. Without a band. Without a box.
