You can get a signed copy of Well Fed Weeknights from BookPeople in Austin—and they ship worldwide!
BookPeople is a truly awesome independent bookstore with a beautifully curated collection of fiction, nonfiction, magazines, and unique gifts. They supported the original Well Fed when it was first released in 2011, and I was new to self publishing (a.k.a., learning as I went along a sometimes rocky path). And I had my first-ever book signing there back in 2007 with my first book Rollergirl: Totally True Tales From The Track. This is baby-me in my Rollergirl duds back in the day at BookPeople.
I’ve always really appreciated how BookPeople supported me as an author, and the store itself has a really good vibe because you know everyone there loves books. And I love that!
Now BookPeople is making signed copies of Well Fed Weeknights available with worldwide shipping, ’cause they’re just really cool like that. You can order a signed copy here—just add it to your cart and specify SIGNED COPY in the comments field when you check out.
And please, come see me at my Well Fed Weeknights signing there on Wednesday, November 9 at 7:00 p.m.
I’ll be joined by nice folks from Common Threads, an organization that offers in-school and after-school nutrition education and hands-on cooking skills programming for third to eighth grade students, their families, and their teachers in Chicago, Miami, Los Angeles, Washington, D.C., New York City, Austin, Jacksonville, New Orleans, and Pittsburgh.
We always donate part of the proceeds from our Well Fed cookbooks to a charitable organization, and with Well Fed Weeknights, we’re supporting the work of Common Threads.

You did such a fabulous demo on Facebook. (I just caught the last one). Sometimes when things go awry, you have the best, real moments. You looked gorgeous and I will continue to make mayo with my immersion blender exactly how you taught me. Also, the chicken salad-salad was a hit! Sending blessings your way.
Oh… thank you! That’s the first time I ever did FB Live. I’m really glad you think I did a good job. Whew! I’m so happy you liked the Curry Chicken-Salad Salad. We had it for lunch right after the demo, and ours was really tasty, too 🙂 Thank you for saying hello and bringing so much positive sweet talk with you.
JUST got my Well Fed Weeknights in the mail!! So excited. I have a kindle copy of Well Fed 2, but I find that I like the physical books better. Can’t wait to incorporate these quicker recipes into my meal planning.
