I Started My Own Business

I’ve mentioned the wonderful Hey, Eleanor web site and podcast before. In case you’re unfamiliar, Molly Mogren of Hey Eleanor, writes honestly and eloquently about her adventures trying things that scare her. She also does a really nice job interviewing other people who faced their demons head on. It’s all very inspiring and motivating and educational; a delight, really.

Molly and I jumped on Skype last week to record an episode of her podcast that’s all about the abject terror and immeasurable contentment of jumping ship from a full-time job to start a small business. We talked about the launch of my Well Fed cookbooks, the importance of not comparing ourselves to others, and what I’m reading this summer, because no conversation is complete without book talk.

Read an excerpt from our conversation and listen to the podcast right here.

If you like the podcast, please be sure to do Molly a solid and give it a rating/review! That really helps spread the word about her awesome work.
