Our New Project: Strong Sense of Place
My new project is taking all of my attention right now, and I'd love for you to join me for new adventures! It's called Strong...
Read MoreWell Fed is available as a print book, a PDF, and a Kindle version… but you know what we don’t have yet? An iPhone/iPad app!
Fingers crossed!
I’m a semi-finalist in a contest sponsored by Mobile Skillet to create a custom cookbook app for the winner — and I would love your vote!
Voting is easy: Just go to this page on Pinterest, find the photo of the Bora Bora Fireballs, then LIKE and REPIN the photo. But don’t be overly shares-y! You can only LIKE and REPIN me once, or I’ll be disqualified… and that would suck. But… feel free to tell your friends and family they can vote for me, too.
There are 100 semi-finalists, and the 10 most popular recipes on the Pinterest page become finalists; then a panel of judges will select a winner.
If you’re not on Pinterest yet, you can still vote. Just hit this link to learn how easy it is to join Pinterest and start pinning images.

DONE! Good Luck Lovely!
Thank you! I appreciate it!
Girl, my 7k Pinterest followers better have your back… how are you such a marketing GENIUS?!
I wish I was a genius. I do! I just kinda bumble around and good people help me out 😉
Did it! Would love the app 🙂 I finally got your cookbook on my school iPad (shhh don’t tell) and have made chocolate chili, cocoa toasted cauliflower, mayo, the list goes on ! Thank you!
Done!
DONE. I joined Pinterest just to do this because I would LOVE an iphone app. 🙂 Good luck! 🙂
Me too! 🙂
Good luck, Mel!
Done. Hope I can get the app if you win!
Oh!!!! I would LOVE a Well Fed App!!!! And I loved pinning this recipe since it is one of my favorites anyways!!!
Done! My husband would LOVE those – so I’d have repinned them if I’d found them on my own. 🙂
Looks like you’re winning by a landslide right now, and the top 2-3 others only have half as many likes or repins!
Hi Mel,
I am going to make these next week and was wondering if you think they would keep for a day or two after making them or if they all need to be eaten straight away 🙂
Michelle
They actually taste even better the second day. Make them according to the recipe, then store covered in the fridge. When you’re ready to eat them, reheat in the oven at the same temp as the recipe for 10-15 minutes, until they’re hot and crispy.
Done! BBFB’s are tied for my fave recipe from Well Fed (don’t know how I lived without The Best Stirfry Sauce Ever) and I would LOVE an iphone app.
You make me happier than a bird with a french fry! Liked, repinned, and fingers crossed for you
Oh, and PS – thanks for all the amazing recipes that helped get my girlfriend on the paleo/dinochow/awesomeness wagon!
Done! Good luck!
If you have a kindle and buy the kindle version of Well Fed from Amazon, you can read the book on your android phone and/or iPad. Install the amazon kindle app on your device. Register your phone or iPad on amazon. On Amazon, go to “your account”, then “manage your kindle”. Find the title of the book, “Well Fed”. On the far right of the page there is an actions pull down, select that. Select “Deliver to my … “. Select your device and the book will be sent to your phone or iPad
Done! Hope you win! Would love to have your app!
Done. I already use Well-Fed on my iphone though. I bring it up in the Kindle app and use it when I’m cooking. It’s the only cook book I do this with, although I do have a few other Paleo recipes I use for my iphone. Good luck!
Done! Good luck! What a cool contest.
Done. Woohoo you’re winning!
