Whole30: Day 6

From June 1 through June 30, I’m participating in the Whole30 clean-up/change your life/heal thyself plan. (Here’s why.)

Rest day. Really, really need to do some chores: grocery shopping, house cleaning, laundry.

Hmmph. Yesterday was a less-than-stellar food day because I was out and about all day – but the day was really great and valuable in other ways, so there you have it. I ate, in no particular order: curry chicken salad from Whole Foods, a tossed salad with EVOO and balsamic vinegar, half a Larabar (banana bread), gyro meat slices wrapped in lettuce leaves, salad with avocado and grilled steak, popcorn (!).

Terrible. Tossed and turned and mulled and thought almost all night. If I had to guess? Four hours of sleep. Meh. At least it’s Sunday, and I can take a nap… when my chores are done, of course.
