Whole30: Day 3
Oh, kids. Day 3. Not so great.
FAIL! I planned to go to CrossFit Women with Coach Crystal this morning, but I slept so little and so poorly last night – and, honestly, wore myself out crying yesterday – that I decided rest would be better than working out.
Semi-fail. I’d planned to go grocery shopping last night after work because the cupboard was mostly bare from being in PA all weekend. But the corporate overlords conspired against me. I worked late yesterday and found myself at the grocery store at 7:00 p.m. – STARVING, cranky, and crying. Recipe for disaster…
I eventually rallied and finally ate dinner at about 8:00 p.m. – happy cow hamburger patty, beet tops with coconut oil, green beans… daytime yesterday was kipper snacks and cucumber salad (times two), a few almonds, tuna salad, jicama, and green pepper strips.
FAIL! I fell asleep at the reasonable hour of 10:00 p.m. and woke up at 2:30 a.m., wide awake. My legs were hot, then I was cold. Smudge was doing her kitty WOD. I watched-snoozed through two movies, read for half an hour, and finally gave it up at 6:00 a.m. Running on fumes now. I blame being a girl.
