Double Unders: No Longer My Nemesis?

Two weeks ago, I told y’all how the double-under was my nemesis. But this morning, Crystal encouraged (a.k.a, forced) us to practice and after many failed attempts — landing ON the rope and whipping my ankles — I got it! And I was so excited every time I did it right, I was never able do it twice in a row.

But I will.

Damn it.

And I can’t help but notice that something that was eluding me in a very annoying way went from “impossible” to “did it” in two weeks. Guess I should stop whining and just keep doing.

Sigh.

Our workout
For time:

  • 10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1 clean + squat, 15-lb. dumbbells
  • after each set: 15 push press + 15 V situps

My time: 16:17

3 rounds, 60 seconds each:

  • double-under practice
  • med ball slams or bench press, 15-lb. dumbbells
