Oh, Nancy!

At CrossFit Women this morning, our assignment was “Nancy.”

It’s one of those workouts that has zero “fun” elements. It’s just two humbling exercises, neither of which has the silliness of, say, wall ball nor the glow of accomplishment associated with floor wipers or pullups.

It’s a leg-burning to-do list with only two items. A combo plate of pain.

Workout: Nancy
5 rounds for time:
  • 15 overhead squats (35-lb. bar on the first 4, 45 lb. on the last)
  • 400m run

I was very, very, very happy when I was finished. And next time, I’ll use at least 45 lbs. the whole time.
