What a Morning!

I ran solo this morning — I think for the first time since Dave and I started training together. The first half mile or so was clunky, but after that, I had a great time.

I ran 4.8 miles. Started at the Stevie Ray Vaughan statue, heading west… kept going around the lake until the steps up to the Congress Street bridge… bounded up the steps (!) and ran across the bridge… then right on Riverside and right again on South First, crossing back under the bridge to head back to Stevie.

Finished in 47:32, which this handy Runner’s World Pace Calculator tells me is 9:54/mile.

Not gonna set any records (except a PR) with that, but not bad.

(I’m sitting at my desk and my hamstrings are kinda twitchy. Hooray?)
