Primal Life Kit

** This sale is now over. Look for another great bundle next spring! **

primal life kit

It’s spring… yay! And that means it’s a wonderful time to start thinking about fresh starts, getting outside, and emerging from winter hibernation… which means it’s also the perfect time for the annual (kickass) ebook sale put together by Neely Quinn, founder of the Paleo Plan web site. This year, Neely invited me to contribute the ebook version of Well Fed 2: More Paleo Recipes For People Who Love To Eat to the bundle, and I’m happy to be part of this incredible collection of resources.

The Primal Life Kit is way more than a bundle of books! It includes ebooks I haven’t seen before, plus research papers by Dr. Loren Cordain (the original paleo man!), an online cooking club subscription, meal plans, magazine subscriptions, fitness programs, and more. If you purchased all the components separately, it would be $1500, but the cost of the kit is only $39.

Here’s what you get:

  • 35 Paleo and Primal eCookbooks and Informational eBooks
  • 3 research papers by Dr. Loren Cordain
  • 1 Online Cooking Club subscription
  • 3 Fitness Programs
  • 2 Paleo Challenges
  • 2 Meal Plans
  • 2 Online Magazine Subscriptions
  • 1 Bonus Video about Eating Paleo on the Road
  • 14 Discounts

What’s in the Primal Life Kit?

One of my favorite ebooks in the Kit — besides Well Fed 2, of course — is the Chowstalker Community Cookbook by Ron and Patty Strilaeff. Patty and Ron are two of the nicest, most genuine people on the planet, and they started the Chowstalker site because they had a sincere desire to help paleo eaters find delicious recipes. I love that they’ve pulled together recipes from Chowstalker contributors to make an ebook — and many of the recipes are new and exclusive to this book.

I’m also pretty excited about the Paleo Autoimmune Protocol Quickstart Guide by Sarah Ballantyne, a.k.a., ThePaleoMom. I’ve finally confirmed that I do not have any autoimmune issues going on, but there have been times when I needed to follow the AIP of paleo, and Sarah’s work was tremendously helpful. It’s pretty awesome to have this ebook in the bundle.

What I like about this Kit, as you’ll see below, is that it covers some of the practical challenges of living paleo — like affording high-quality food — and really is an educational tool kit for navigating life as a paleo person in a non-paleo world. And I’m super psyched about the non-book stuff this time around: a lifetime membership to the Good Food for Bad Cooks Online Club with Liz Wolfe. Are you kidding me?! That’s totally badass.

Also, there’s a discount for Squatty Potty, and although it’s rather indelicate to mention, we have one, and it’s totally changed my bathroom life. There! I said it!

I’m reeling in my enthusiasm here to as not to get all caps-lock and bold type, but seriously, Neely always does a tremendous job of getting the best stuff from the best people for her annual spring bundle.

I was wondering if the ebooks are in PDF format or whether I need an iPad/kindle device to be able to access them. This looks like an AMAZING collection of resources! Thanks

Done! Anyway I can support you and your wonderful work..Done! Your book is just AMAZING!!!!

  • Gwen says:

This looks like a great deal and I’ll probably partake, but I’m wondering who organizes these packages. I follow another blog that has absolutely no relation to paleo foods or any other “special” diet, and she’s posted a very similar deal this week (meaning in the last two days) related to urban homesteading, which is certainly not a coincidence.

I’m definitely not one in to look a gift-horse in the mouth, but I am curious about the source of all this organizational prowess, so I’d love to know a little more about these deals!
