Running On Noodles

See that up there? That is generally known as a Concept2 Rower. I call bullsh*t on that! That thing is “The Noodle Maker.” It transformed my legs from muscle and bone into a pile of unreliable, wiggliness.

8 rounds:
on the minute: 1-3 pushups, work up to weighted
on the minute: 1-2 static chin-up holds, chin over bar, 5 seconds; lower for 5 seconds
My pushup weights: body – body – body – 10# – 10# – 10# – 15# – 15#

2 rounds:
3:00 run + 1:00 rest
3:00 row + 1:00 rest
My numbers: 5 laps; 1419m

    OMG. I did a 1500m row for time at the end of a WOD, and when I stood up, I felt OK, but my legs gave out and a found myself sitting on the ground. OW. Got a nasty bruise from that one.

      I was really surprised when I stepped off my rower! I guess I never rowed hard enough or long enough before to get the noodle legs, but man! I won’t soon forget that.
