That’s Fit!

That’s Fit is a fitness/sports/nutrition blog with a variety of contributors that have lots of great information to share. It’s a good place to stop for quick hits of inspiration and ideas to keep your motivation high.

Editor Jacki Donaldson a) is a badass (check out her other blogs: my breast cancer blog and Planet Kid) and b) has excellent taste — ’cause she wrote a little feature about me. Neato!

Seeing my age in print always makes me cringe a little. But you know what? I’m so much happier now than I ever was when I was younger. For me, older = better. Look, I know training and eating right is hard, but I’m dead-sick of hearing people whine about how it’s too hot, they’re too old, it’s too hard, they’re too tired. Yeah, we’re all “too” something… including “too dead” some day. If my willingness to trumpet, “I’m 41!” all over the place shuts mouths and gets assess moving… I’ll take that.

Excuses are boring.

    Excuses ARE boring! Older DOES equal better. I'm proud of you for the commitment that you have made to yourself, and how you continue to inspire people.
